Under the theme of Teaching and Learning, ministry officials, academics and EFA partners in Asia-Pacific will meet at the national launch of the 2013/4 EFA Global Monitoring Report.

“An education system is only as good as its teachers. Unlocking their potential is essential to enhancing the quality of learning,” says the 2013/4 Education for All Global Monitoring Report. The report puts the spotlight on the importance of implementing strong policies to unlock the full potential of teachers.

Following these presentations were two presentations by Mr. Gwang-Chol Chang, Chief of the EPR (Education Policy Reform (EPR) Unit, UNESCO Bangkok and Dr. Jutarat Vibulpol, Chulalongkorn University. The presentations focused on pedagogical studies in the Asia-Pacific region and in Thailand respectively.

The last session of the launch was a national roundtable on Teacher Policy and Development in Thailand.
